My foray into paper actually stemmed from my interest in lampshades. I used to collect lampshades. If I found a frame that was intact, I would turn it into a beautiful usable object.

I don’t collect them anymore, but on more than one occasion I have been asked to revive one. So, over the years, I have perfected the art of recovering a lampshade with paper.
